Water always fascinates me in all forms. Water is life. Without it, nothing can exist on this planet or anywhere else I believe. It’s moody, it’s flexible, it’s fascinating, it’s calming, it’s volatile, dangerous, enigmatic mysterious. It’s the source of our existence and the fuel of beings. If there is magic on this planet, it is contained in water.
This week’s challenge is to share a photo of something unlikely. An object or person in an unlikely place, an unpredictable experience, a serendipitous accident: we want the expected.
Here’s a series of chance encounters with living and non-living things we normally don’t see around on a usual day like this cute little dog I’d meet during one of my walks in the middle of nowhere. He followed me around for about five kilometers till I reached the highway then he turned around and went back in the forest.
“Sunrise looks spectacular in nature; sunrise looks spectacular in the photos; sunrise looks spectacular in our dreams; sunrise looks spectacular in the paintings because it really is spectacular!”
I saw this communication mast a thousand times before but never after dark. In the daytime, it is something that usually would not catch my attention or other people’s for that matter I supposed. But the other night on the way home we drove by this tower again and I could not believe how different it looked! I tried to get decent shots but it’s difficult to do from a moving vehicle on a fast lane. But what I managed to capture I like. they are blurred but it adds to the already other-worldly effect. Here they are…
I’m fortunate enough to live in a place teeming with beautiful spots just outside my door and neighboring villages. It is hard to choose which one is my favorite. Here are some of them. Chosen especially for you.
