I wonder how long these pieces of wood posts have been submerged in the water and if they are originally like that or parts of something much bigger, and what is their purpose, why they are there… They look like broken teeth of an old person. Weathered and decaying.

I think we tend to exchange them for something new before they reach that stage. We are vain creatures 😀

I prefer to just keep mine and not have to exchange, but we’ll see.

Me too. I’ve lost quite few already. Pregnancies did that to me. Luckily they are at the back so not really noticeable. I can still smile but not too wide.
