A Pop of Color

I saw this orange ball floating in a canal near my home. I wonder to whom it belongs and why it ended up there.

And this is my first and forever love. I go weak in the knees whenever I see this little handsome fella 🙂

I love to walk in industrial terrain/park in the weekend. It’s vast, peaceful and quiet. And once in a while I come across wonderful surprises like this building which is devoid of any bright color except for the window on the top right and the lower left corner. Because of that, the added unexpected pop of red works so well against the dark background. Perfect for brightening an otherwise dark, cold, wet and dreary Spring.

Overall, I liked the photos. I was able to imagine myself in your shoes and walking around enjoying the day while getting great shots. I wonder if I would have liked the building pic more on a sunny day, or at dawn, or some other way in which the lighting/exposure had more of a contrast.
